3 Quick Fat Loss Tips

Ready to get a jump start on the new year and start losing fat fast? Here are 3 tips to help you get moving the in right direction:

1.Cut out refined carbs

This one is pretty simple: cut out processed, refined carbs. This would include cookies, crackers, white bread, bagels, etc. Veggies and fruits should form the foundation of your carbohydrate intake, with maybe one or two servings a day of carbs in a more refined form. This will help you cut calories, increase your energy immediately, and start losing fat fast.

2. Start weight training

If you're trying to lose fat and all you're doing is cardio, you're not making nearly the progress you could be! More muscle (which comes from weight training) means more calories burned at rest. Get together a solid plan of attack and get going!

3. Move more

Don't forget that to lose fat we need to expend more calories than we take in. This is always the bottom line of fat loss. So, if you park your car at the end of the parking lot and walk a little extra to get to the store, if you take the stairs instead of the elevator, if you take a 15 minute walk every day at lunch time, these thing are going to add up over time.
